Shorthand test in English or Hindi including a hundred words per minute dictation test for seven minutes which candidates will have to transcribe in forty-five minutes (English dictation) and sixty minutes (Hindi dictation) and computer literacy. CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAM:

All applicants (male / female) are requested to carefully read the 2019 Assam Public Service Combined Competition Exam (Amendment) Rules as notified by the Government. of Assam's Personnel Department (A) available on the Commission’s website http://www.apsc.nic.in and this advt. of the exam is derived from these rules. Candidates who apply for the exam must ensure that they meet all the eligibility requirements to be admitted to the exam. Their admission to all stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to compliance with the prescribed eligibility conditions. The mere issuance of an e-Admit Card to the candidate does not imply that his application has finally been approved by the Commission.
