DSE Assam recruitment: educational qualifications
Graduate teacher (arts): graduate or post-graduate of a recognized university in the arts with at least 50% of grades in graduation or post-diploma (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Teacher Education Council recognized the institution, but the degree obtained off campus and at a distance learning institution will not be considered valid.
Graduate teacher (science): must be a science graduate or science graduate from a recognized university with at least 50% graduation or post-graduation grades (or its equivalent) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) .) of the National Council for Recognized Institution for Teacher Education, but the diploma obtained from an off-campus and distance learning institution will not be considered valid
Regarding the secondary TET, the candidate must obtain 60% of the marks in each paper for the UR category and 55% of the marks for OBC / MOBC. Category SC ST (P) ST (H) and PwD.
No candidate is allowed to apply to Bengali / Hindi / Assamese language schools if the candidate does not have MILs in Bengali, Hindi and Assamese respectively on the HSLC exam as applicable. Only the candidate having Bengali, Hindi and Assamese as MIL in the HSLC exam is allowed to apply to schools which provide education in Bengali. Hindi and Assamese medium.

Selected applicants will receive Rs.14,500 / - to Rs.60,500 / - and Grade Pay Rs.8,700 / - per month from the organization.
DSE Assam Recruitment Graduate Teacher (Arts and Sciences) Selection Process
I. 100 points on the percentage of marks in the B.A / B.Com / B.Sc exam (in case of Major / Hons, the
marks obtained in major / with distinction must be taken into account).
II. 100 points on the percentage of points in the final HS examination.
III. 100 points on the percentage of points in the final B.T./B.Ed exam.
IV. 100 points on the percentage of points on the TET exam or 60 points for 15 years of experience as an undergraduate / junior teacher in a provincial high school with the required academic and professional qualifications. Any experienced teacher who has appeared but has not been able to obtain the minimum 60 TET qualification marks will be awarded at least 60 points for their experience if they have already completed 15 years of teaching experience. All marks obtained by such an experienced teacher beyond 60 qualification points in TET will be counted in addition with regard to TET for such teacher.
V. Explanation: For the purposes of calculating marks in the categories mentioned in clauses (i) (ii), (iii) and (iv) above, it may be specified that if a candidate obtains; for example, 60% of points for the particular exam, he obtains 60 points out of 100 points awarded to the exam concerned.
VI. 50 points @ 25 points for one year of teaching experience as a contract teacher and an additional 25 points for two years, subject to consideration for a minimum period of two years.
VII. 50 teaching experience points for teachers working permanently on a fixed pay basis (other than contract teachers) in a provincial high school or high school / Madrassa for their service as fixed pay teachers provided that '' they have the required academic and professional qualification.
VIII. 10 points for the NCC certificate (10 points for the "C" certificate and 5 points for the "B" certificate)
IX. 10 points for participating in nationally recognized sports representing Assam.
X. 10 points for achievements in the field of fine arts and cultural activities officially representing the State at the national level.
