Qualification for education
Mechanical Apprentice Technician: Three years (or two years by side entry after ITI with a minimum duration of one year / 10 + 2) Full-time diploma in one of the following engineering disciplines:
i) Mechanical engineering
ii) Automotive engineering
Apprentice Electrical Technician: Three years (or two years by side entry after ITI with a minimum duration of one year / 10 + 2) Full-time degree in one of the following engineering disciplines:
i) Electrical engineering
ii) Electrical and electronic engineering
Apprentice Telecommunications and Instrumentation Technician: Three years (or two years by side entry after ITI for a minimum of one year / 10 + 2) Full-time degree in one of the following engineering disciplines from a government . Recognized institute:
i) Electronic engineering and communication
ii) Electronic and telecommunications engineering
iii) Electronics and radiocommunications engineering
iv) Instrumentation and control engineering
v) Instrumentation and process control engineering
vi) Electronic engineering
Trainee by trade (AssistantHuman Resource: Full-time baccalaureate (Graduation) from a government recognized institute / university.
Apprentice Professional (Accountant): Full-time Bachelor (Diploma) in Commerce from a government. recognized institute / university
Data entry operator (more recent apprentices): minimum 12th level (but less qualified)
National operator of data entry (holders of a certificate of competence): 12th pass minimum (but below the diploma). In addition, applicants must have a "national data entry operator" competency certificate for training of less than one year issued by an issuing body recognized under the National Competency Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by central government.

Technical and non-technical apprentice - Age limit

IOCL Technical and Non-Technical Trade Apprentice – Pay Scale/Salary
Selected candidates will get Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines. from the organization.

(a) For apprentice technicians: Under the direction of the Regional Council for Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) concerned on its portal National Apprenticeship Training System (NATS) under the Ministry of Human Resources Development. (b) For commercial apprentices (optional trades): with the National Skills Development Council (NSDC) at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/ After successful registration with the above agencies, a registration number will be generated and the candidate must mention this registration number when applying for apprenticeship positions on the Indian Oil Pipelines portal at https://plis.indianoilpipelines.in.
2) Applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed above should visit our IOCL website https://plis.indianoilpipelines.in and apply online from 04.11.2020 to 22.11.2020 at 6:00 p.m.
